3rd AFAN – CAN Join Congress
More than 300 participants are expected in Cameroon to participate physically and several hundred will participate online.
National and international experts from all fields of neuroscience will be present and the largest scientific societies will be represented including:
- The World Federation of Neurology (WFN),
- The European Academy of Neurology (EAN),
- The International League Against Epilepsy,
- The International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society (MDS),
- The World Stroke Organization (WSO)
Poster Presentation Contest
On the occasion of the 3rd Joint Scientific Congress of AFAN – CAN scheduled from 21st & 23rd October 2022 at the Hotel La Falaise de Bonanjo in Douala, Cameroon, Strides Pharma Science Limited has launched a contest for the best communication in the form of a poster: Place of the fixed combination Pregabalin and Methylcobalamin in the management of neuropathic pain.
- Neuropathic pain: peripheral and central
- Diabetic peripheral neuropathy
- Sciatica and compression neuropathy
- Neuropathic pain associated with spinal cord injury
- Fibromyalgia, Postherpetic & Trigeminal neuralgia
The five best posters will be selected by a jury for an oral presentation (face-to-face or virtual) during the symposium organized for this purpose during the congress.
At the end of this presentation, a prize will be awarded to the five best posters. The price list will be communicated to the participants at a later date.
A certificate of participation signed by the jury will be given to each participant.
Who can participate?
- Residents of Neurology, Neurosurgery, Surgery, Orthopedist, Rheumatology, Traumatology, Diabetology, Endocrinology & Internal Medicine;
- Neurologists, Neurosurgeons, Surgeons, Orthopedics, Rheumatologists, Traumatologists, Diabetologists, Endocrinologists or Internists;
- Working in the following countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Gabon, Guinea, Mali and Senegal.
Format: PowerPoint (single slide) / PDF (single page) / JPEG (single)
- Title, Abstract, Introduction, Materials & Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Key References, Acknowledgements
- Names of the authors followed by a superscript number (Ex: Daniel Gams 1, Yacouba Mapoure 2, 3, ...) indicating the rank of the institution (Ex: 1 Faculty of Heath Sciences, 2 Faculty of Medicine & Pharmaceutical Sciences, 3, ...)
- Name of the corresponding author, his email address & mobile no. below the institutions (Ex: Daniel Gams, danny.gamsmassi@gmail.com; +256 12345678)
